Airtel has launched India's first
live payments bank in Rajasthan. Which would provide an interest of 7.25% per
annum on deposits. Airtel Payments Bank is a subsidiary
of Bharti Airtel. The bank will offer interest rate of 7.25 per cent per annum
on deposits in savings accounts.
Customers in towns and villages
across Rajasthan will now be able to open bank accounts at Airtel retail
outlets. Airtel had received
payments bank
licence from RBI in April this year.
